All about the City of Cairo and Pyramids of Giza Tour with flights from Hurghada, 1 Day Excursion.

Experience the best of Cairo, from ancient treasures to towering pyramids, on a full-day trip that includes round-trip flights from Hurghada. You’ll be greeted by a guide upon arrival, browse the halls of the Egyptian Antiquities Museum, then cross the Nile River to the remarkable Pyramids of Giza after taking your lunch. At afternoon, you will have a chance for shopping, buying souvenirs, exploring Cairo and watching the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids before the returning flight to Hurghada, back to your hotel.

  1. 4:15 AM till 5:00 AM Pickup Location

    You will picked up from your hotel in early morning between 4:15 AM till 5:00 AM depends on your hotel location by air conditioned bus and transfer to Hurghada Airport for your flight to Cairo. Your personal English-speaking Egyptologist guide will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall at Cairo Airport to be with you through the day.

  2. First Egyptian Museum

    You will start your day by visiting the Egyptian Museum, which built in new-classical style, designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. You will get to see over 165,000 Egyptian artifacts from different Eras starting from Pre-Dynastic Era, Pharaonic Era to the Greco-Roman Era. The priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun are the highlight here. His six gilded coffins dominate the main hall, while his magnificent death mask is the star attraction. You can also visit the Mummies Hall to know more about the Egyptian civilization and the art of mummification in ancient Egypt (additional cost).

  3. Second Nile River & Lunch

    Next, you will enjoy sailing along the Nile on a small boat and watch the sites of the city (optional) before having lunch.

  4. Third Pyramids of Giza & the Great Sphinx

    Next stop on your tour is the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. One of the Seven Wonders of the World and still to this day a riddle. Composed of over 2.3 million blocks of granite weighing 25 – 80 tons each and constructed over a 20 year period concluding around 2560BC, the pyramids of Cairo was the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years, to this day we still do not know for sure exactly these amazing structures were built, although there are many theories. You will have free time to enter one of the Pyramids (additional cost) if you wish. A truly unforgettable experience.

    Next, The Great Sphinx, an enigmatic symbol of Egypt, formed of a lion’s body and a human head tending over 73 meters long and 20 meters high. The Great Sphinx of Giza is the oldest known monumental sculpture, built by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom in the reign of the pharaoh Khafren.

  5. Fourth Shopping

    You will visit a perfume factory and traditional papyrus institute where you can see how they make papyrus and you will get a chance to purchase unique gifts if you desire. You can also watch the sound and light show at the Pyramids in the evening (additional cost).

  6. Finally Drop Back Location

    You will then drive back to Cairo Airport for your flight back to Hurghada. Upon arrival, you will dropped back to your hotel after wonderful day.
